Hope Window

Inspiration at the Art Museum

Impressionism in the 19th century was brand new and generally frowned upon.  At the time, artists like Monet and Renior were breaking the rules of their time by showing brush strokes and changing up the style.  Critics were harsh, almost up until the time of Monet’s death.  This information from the tour guide lifted me up.  I don’t have to follow the ‘rules’.  I don’t have to stay within the trend of the field if I don’t want to.  I can hear Monet in his french accent now: “Hata’s gonna hate!”   Think outside the popular style of whatever it is you’re doing.  To be great, be different, it could be the start a new era!

Why I want to brag – I mean blog

Image

Have a seat and welcome to my blog!

Why do I want to blog?

“Are you bragging – I mean blogging?” – My Mother

This will be a place where I publish a bit of what I am experiencing, creating, and maybe even feeling.  My intention will be to inspire in a small little way.

The idea is that if even I can pull it together and make some things like this happen, than you can too, my friend.

I will try to keep the bragging to a minimum.
